Cirrus is part of the Edinburgh International Data Facility (EIDF) and, as such, all EIDF Policies apply to Cirrus. These policies include (but are not limited to) the terms and conditions of access, personal data and privacy policy, third-party data stored on EIDF policy and the account closure policy.

In addition, Cirrus access also falls within the remit of the Computing Regulations and Security Policy of the University of Edinburgh and all users who sign up for a SAFE and/or Cirrus account agree to these conditions of access:
